4-[(4-Fluorophenyl)methoxy]benzeneacetonitrile is an Oct3/4-inducer-1. Oct4 is a transcriptional factor involved with self-renewal of undifferentiate embryonic stem cells. Oct4 is also one of the four reprogramming factors used to generate induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).
