Indole-5-carboxylic Acid is used in the synthesis of selective D3 dopamine receptor agonists used to combat diseases such as Parkinson’s. Also used in the preparation of potent ligand-efficient inhibitors of CTM-X Class A β-Lactamases which pose health threats to the public.
