(E)-1,2-Dichloroethene is a stereoisomer of (Z)-1,2-Dichloroethene (D434365) which is a synthetic intermediate of solvents and chlorinated compounds. It is mainly used as a solvent for resins, fats, perfumes, dyes, paints, plastics thermosensitive, phenols, etc., also used to extract sensitive products cold to heat (caffeine, rubber, fragrant fat, etc). It is also used in some degreasing metals.
