3-(Diethylboryl)pyridine is an intermediate used to prepare inhibitors of ataxia telangiectasia mutated and Rad3 related (ATR) protein kinase as potential anticancer agents. It is also used in the synthesis of trisubstituted pyrimidines from polyhalopyrimidines via Suzuki coupling.
