Dexamethasone 23-Dimorpholinophosphinate-D5 is an intermediate in the synthesis of Dexamethasone Phosphate-D5 (Major) (D298837), which is the labeled form of Dexamethasone Phosphate (D298835), which is the pro-drug of Dexamethasone (D298800), an anti-inflammatory glucocorticoid. It was found that liposomal DXM-P inhibited both chronic inflammation and joint destruction, whereas free DXM-P failed to prevent joint destruction.
