4-tert-Butylbenzyl Chloride is an intermediate used to prepare aryl pyrazole carbohydrazides as potential agents against A549 lung cancer cells. It is also used in the synthesis of (acyloxybenzylpropyl)(hydroxymethoxybenzyl)thiourea derivatives as vanilloid receptor agonists and analgesics.
