Boc-Arg(Pbf)-OH is a protected form of L-arginine (A769505) used in the synthetic preparation of peptides, such as autophagosomal marker lipoprotein LC3-II. Boc-Arg(Pbf)-OH has also been used as a building block in the synthesis of anticancer amphipathic peptide-dendronized compounds.
