Didechlorodihydroxycyclophosphamide is used in the preparation of cyclophosphamide metabolite in presence of cytochrome P 450 of liver microsomes. Cyclophosphamide is used in chemotherapy. It is a part of the standard treatment for patients with diffuse large-B-cell lymphoma.
