N-Ethyl-1-naphthylamine is used as a reagent in the synthesis of 5,6,7,8-tetrahydroquinoline C5a receptor antagonists. Also used as a reagent in the synthesis of benzo[a]phenoxazinium chalcogen analogs as broad-spectrum antimicrobial photosensitizers.
