O-Dimethyl Dorzolamide Maleic Acid Adduct is an intermediate used in the synthesis of Dorzolamide Maleic Acid Adduct (D535105), which is the isomeric adduct resulting from the nucleophilic addition of Dorzolamide (D535100) to Maleic Acid. Dorzolamide, is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. It is an anti-glaucoma agent, and acts by decreasing the production of aqueous humour. It is used in the form of eye drops.
