Ceric Ammonium Sulfate Dihydrate is used in the development of new colorimetric method for the determination of Bromfenac in bulk and marketed formulations. It also functions as a reagent in the oxidation of aromatic rings, halophenols to quinones, Baeyer-Villiger oxidation and in oxidative aromatization.
